About Us
The Dartford Centre is run by Andy and Jean Sear, who each have well over 20 years of teaching experience. Andy was a local headteacher and has worked for the DfES. Jean still teaches part-time in a local primary school. They took over the Centre in February 2005.

What We Do
We tutor Reading, Spelling, English and Mathematics for children between the ages of 6 to 16. We cater for children who are just starting to read, right through to GCSE level. We specialise in helping chidren who are having difficulty with their school work and for those who simply want to achieve better results. We also offer tuition for 11+, SATs and GCSE and run a summer school.
The Centre is open after school and on Saturday morning. We have excellent computer resources in a happy and caring environment. Each child has an individual learning programme and sessions last for 1 hour 20 minutes. We use a variety of motivating and rewarding techniques designed to boost confidence and accelerate learning.
An initial FREE assessment is offered during which parents can see the Centre and are encouraged to express their concerns about their child's progress.
We are close to the centre of Dartford, with easy free parking.
